The club is open to the public year-round and is a pet friendly facility.
Excellent traditional fare is served at The Tudor Rose, including some old British favorites like pork pie and Cornish pasties.

MITCHELL DICKEY, master falconer
At a very young age, Mitchell Dickey was introduced to the sport of falconry and immediately became intrigued by this ancient form of hunting. Raised in south Georgia amidst the endless rural landscape, he was able to gain a true appreciation for wildlife and all things outdoors. Early in his falconry career, Mitchell was captivated by the ability to witness a firsthand account of a predator and its prey interacting in their natural environment. The thrill of the hunt and the opportunity to partner with these great aerial predators has solidified his love for the sport. Mitchell has now been practicing falconry for over 12 years. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a degree in Agribusiness. When not in the field with his birds, Mitchell can be found spending time with his wife and daughter.

FREESTYLE SPORTING CLAYS
Please note: The sporting clays course will be closed Sept.9-Sept. 12 for re-design.
Freestyle Sporting Clays is a new approach to the classical style of traditional sporting clays. Our course was intentionally designed to look like upland bird fields; all of the clay target throwers are hidden from sight as much as possible to enhance the natural feel of the course and shooting enjoyment. The use of multiple shooting pegs (stands) and specialty targets are used to better represent simulated hunting. Peg placement is in FITASC style as opposed to regular sporting clays stations that have shooting stands. The course is suitable for any level of shooting ability because it produces tremendous target variation and challenges. For those who enjoy more advanced target presentations, we have included a Tapper’s Choice option to test your skill.
The course is approximately mile in length and forms a complete circle. There are 14 fields on the course. Targets are thrown in such a way as to simulate the realistic flight of a bird in the hunting field.
Price: $30 per 50 targets or
$45 per 100 targets

If you wish to improve your game or if you are just getting started, we are here to help. Enjoy lessons with our head coach, John Higgins, (NSCA Level III) who has over 30 years experience professionally teaching in the
US and abroad.

HORSEBACK RIDING
One of the best ways to explore the countryside is on horseback. Guests are welcome to bring their own horses and camp out at the club to enjoy the beautiful scenery and abundant wildlife that Taliaferro County has to offer. The property offers several miles of trails and there are hours of dirt road riding available for those who want to go further. The club is a great central location for trail riders who would like to visit A.H. Stephens State Park, Watson’s Mill Bridge State Park, Bussey Point or participate in the exciting events hosted by the Classic South Equine Association.
Price: $25 per night per trailer
